Celebrating Women’s History Month At Elevated Resources – Joanne Murphy
As we celebrate #WomensHistoryMonth, we are featuring several of the women that drive innovation while personifying inspiration at Elevated Resources.
Meet Joanne Murphy, SVP, Client Success at Elevated Resources. She is an accomplished executive leader with professional experience in HR outsourcing, recruiting operations and call center management.
We spoke with Joanne about her thoughts on what Women’s History Month means to her:
Elevated Resources: What message would you like to share with young girls out there to prepare them for success?
Joanne: Participate fully in the opportunities presented to you and seek out and engage in those things you are passionate about. Don’t back down from a challenge because it can present a great learning experience for you. Enthusiastically, and without apology, celebrate your successes and achievements and find the value and lessons in your failures and disappointments. When you fall down, get up, dust yourself off and keep moving forward.
Elevated Resources: What is needed most to support women in the workplace?
Joanne: Providing opportunity and then ensuring there are seats at the table with equal value placed on the voice, points of view, insights, and experiences that are uniquely female. Women need to be in every room where issues are discussed, debated and solved, incorporating diversity of thought and experience. Female engagement isn’t more important than engagement of others, just equally valuable.
